CGI Commitments

Commitment interns will work on CGI member outreach efforts, partnership opportunities, and special projects for senior staff in the department. Duties within the department include verbal and written interdepartmental communications, extensive research support about commitments for various CGI and Clinton Foundation departments, and project management. Responsibilities also include working with advanced quantitative tools for commitment data analysis, aiding in tracking ongoing and new commitments, assisting in up-keep of database accuracy, following-up with members about their commitments as needed, and drafting and editing language for commitment announcements and certificates. Due to the high-profile nature of CGI members, candidates should be professional and adaptable, and should have excellent writing skills. They should be able to pay attention to detail, handle multiple tasks at once, and meet deadlines.

Interns lead CGI U commitment development with student commitment-makers, from initial outreach through commitment development and implementation. CGI U Commitment interns will also identify opportunities for collaboration between CGI constituencies. Duties include verbal and written communications with CGI U participants, extensive research support about commitments for colleges/universities, and project management. Responsibilities also include commitment data analysis, aiding in tracking new and ongoing CGI U commitments, and drafting and editing language for featured commitments and commitment certificates. Qualified candidates have knowledge of college/university structures, experience in student activism or involvement on campus, and an interest in international development and the CGI U focus areas. They are also professional, adaptable, detail-oriented, and creative critical-thinkers, with excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
